Eleven of them are straight-up fighting games, and three of them are spinoffs of various quality. When you move all the ports and upgrades, you end up with fourteen unique entries. Oh, and as well, there are some video games. During that time we was treated to three live-action Mortal Kombat movies, a live-action TV show, a Sunday morning cartoon, a novel, several comic books, a live show, four animated films, and some hilarious imitators.
